3G/4G

3G network is based on your mobile phone and allows users to do things such as access internet and download the latest features to your phone. 3G network is a lot faster and allows us to keep in contact with others in a much faster way.
4G 4G wireless is the term used to describe the fourth-generation of wireless service. 4G is a step up from 3G, which is currently the most widespread, high-speed wireless service. 4G is only available in limited areas.







Wireless

Wireless internet allows users to access the internet through their computer/laptop. It is called wireless as there are no leads or wires connected to the computer/laptop in order to connect to the internet and this means that the user can take their laptop from one room to the next. Wireless internet can also be connect to your mobile phone by the user entering a code into their phone. this will also allow the user to connect to the internet on their phone without the need for a computer/laptop.



Bluetooth

This is a type of radio communication and networking device. It is used in order for devices close to one another can exchange data.  This can be used on items such as computers, digital cameras, mobile phones and faxes.


NIC - Network Interface Card
A network interface card (NIC) is a card that is installed in a computer so that it can be connected to a network. Network interface cards provide a dedicated, full-time connection to a network. Most home and portable computers connect to the Internet through as-needed dial-up connection.
